It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Dale Raymond Dongworth on December 15, 2021 at the age of 76.

Dale was predeceased by his loving parents Thomas and Johanna Dongworth and his daughter Jaqueline Dongworth.

Dale will be greatly missed by his son Daniel Dongworth; granddaughters Madison and Samantha; his sisters Doreen (Roy) Wagman, Elaine (Reg) Wagman, Doris Amrud, and Janice Dongworth; his close friends Kenton (Charlie) Metzler and Ken Amrud. He will also be missed by all his nieces and nephews and many other people who knew and loved Dale.

Dale was born and raised in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan. He lived most of his adult life in Regina, Saskatchewan. Dale was a truck driver and loved the open road until a heart condition ended his trucking career. He would listen to his beloved Elvis Presley and many Country and Western singers on his trips across the country.

Dale was an avid Tim Hortons patron. He and his friend Charlie would go for coffee anytime of the day or night.

Private family gathering will be held at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dale’s name to the Canadian Lung Association or The Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

We are really going to miss you Dale.

Messages:

I remember Dale, from when I was 10 years old, until now so about 48 years. I remember when I was running nights, Dale and I would have coffee at Tim’s, about 2011. Very kind soul, and a good truck driver too. Very sad to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family.

Dear Janice & all Dongsworth family . Sincere sympathy on the loss of your Brother Dale.

Although I never got to know Dale personally, I know losing a sibling is always difficult. I'm wishing all my cousins peace in the knowledge he is safe with our Redeemer.

To The Dongworth Family: Sincere condolences in the passing of Dale. Remembering Dale from Willow Bunch. I have many fond memories.

My fondest memories of my childhood involve the entire Dongworth family and I know my mom had a soft spot for him so for me it was his infectious laugh which he came by it honestly and his ability to make us laugh. I am sure he will be missed and it just reminds us of how life is short enjoy the good parts because those are memories you carry, love you all and sweet dreams Dale

RIP Dale. Many cups coffee and trucking stories were told. So many great memories !! ☕️

I am finding it difficult to express how I am feeling right now. Dale was always a legend to me. As a child I was always excited for him to visit. Although over the years I didn’t see him as much as cousins should he was always in my heart with love. I will always be grateful that he attended mom’s funeral at my request. Love you Dale.
