Donna Mae Weisenberger

October 15th, 2020

Donna Mae Weisenberger, late of White City, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Donna was predeceased by her father Toni, mother Cecilia, brothers Rick and Joe and sister Elaine. She is survived by her loving husband Harvey (Willi) Weisenberger; her children Scott (Gabi) Weisenberger and Michelle (Gerald) Malowany and their children Michael, Mandy, Olivia, Jessica, and Katie; her brother Dan Bengert; and numerous amounts of family and friends.

Donna was born in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan but grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan where she met the love of her life Harvey in elementary school. They got married in 1969 and lived in Regina until the early 80’s when they decided to move out to White City, Saskatchewan.

Donna had a real love for dogs, mostly her standard poodle Jude. The two were inseparable. She also loved her grandkids very much. They always loved going over to her house for sleepovers. She would spoil them even when their mom said not too, if it was not making milkshakes for them (always more than one) to whichever food they wanted, to tons of craft making that weekend. She was certainly very tired when they had gone home but never complained. She was also known to the grandkids as “grizzly gram” which was always a good joke at the Malowany house.

Donna also loved her yard very much. She spent many long hours and a lot of hard work making it simply perfect. She was a very loving and kind person and was always ready to listen to anyone that wanted to talk. She was the kind of person that would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She will always have a special place in many of our hearts as she touched so many. May God bless you and grant you eternal life. Rest in Peace Donna!

Private family graveside service will be held in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Donna’s memory to Stars Air Ambulance at: www.stars.ca
