Paul Calvin Mortley

February 25th, 2020

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father, Paul Calvin Mortley.

Paul was a kind, gentle and a humble man who devoted his life to his treasured wife, Elizabeth, and four children Calvin, Jessica (Andrew) Turbuck, Philip, and Ryan. He was the cherished grandfather to Brock, Bryden and Charlotte.

Paul was a hardworking, and resilient family man, who led by example in all that he said and did. He was always ready with a listening ear, and a tender word of wisdom for whomever needed guidance, whether stranger, family or friend. We are immeasurably grateful for the legacy of deep faith and love that he left us, and will fondly cherish years of happy memories with a man who courageously lived his life well.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Charles and Grace Mortley of Arthur, Ontario, and survived by his three loving brothers Bevin (Brenda), Stephen and Robert (Marcella).

We wish to offer sincere thanks for the outstanding care he received by the emergency and cardiac staff at the Regina General Hospital.

A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8025 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. Private family interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.

I just heard of your loss and my heart goes out to Elizabeth and her children and grand children. My deepest sympathy. May God comfort you and give you peace.

My heart goes out to you all. Praying for peace and hope to comfort you in this tragic situation. ❤

Calvin and family...I was saddened to read of Paul's passing. I met him on a few occasions but sadly never got to know him. He officiated at the funeral service of my father-in-law, George Brown. George's wife, Beth, always spoke highly of the Mortley family. I got to know Calvin quite well when he attended university with my son, Curtis. May you all find comfort in your memories of your husband, father, and grandfather. May God hold all of you in the palm of His hand and bring you peace. Be strong for one another. Margaret Brown and Family

Our heartfelt sympathies to Elizabeth and the family. God give you strength.
