Sylvia passed away peacefully on October 23, 2020 with family by her side. She is now reunited with her husband Peter.
Sylvia will be deeply missed by her sons Mike (Heather) and Merv (Kim); grandsons Eric (Holly), Aaron, Shane and Mitchell; as well as the Mantyak, Gillett and Riekman families and friends.
She loved to go to thrift stores and garage sales to find that next great treasure. Sylvia loved visiting with family and friends, bringing along her homemade soup or baking.
Unfortunately, declining health issues took a tremendous toll in these past years. As per Sylvia’s request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
