Penny Insley

On Thursday, November 19, 2020 Penny Insley (Cardwell) passed away suddenly in Regina, Saskatchewan at the age of 58 years old.

 

Penny was predeceased by her parents Fredrick Cardwell and Janet Knievel; sisters Audrey Siewert, Wanda Maurer, Tammy Mack; brothers Ted Cardwell, and Russel Cardwell; son Baby Paradis. She is survived by her father Leo Knievel; life partner Murray Hingston; daughters Melissa O’Brien (Ryan), and Jennifer Custance (Nick); grandchildren Ayla, Lyla, Lukas, Carter, Amelia, and Alexis.

 

Penny was born in Brampton, Ontario on August 24, 1962. She was the 5th born child of a family of 10. Growing up, Penny enjoyed drawing, painting and bowling. Over the years, Penny also enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, playing scrabble, playing cards and most importantly spending time with family; most recently her life partner Murray.

 

Penny was a loving and compassionate partner, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Throughout her life her compassion and nurturing nature was admired, she spent some time as a foster parent before she had a family of her own. Her daughters and their families were the absolute center of her world. Her devotion to her legacy will be lovingly remembered. Penny’s ability to continuously show unconditional love to all that she cared about will never be forgotten. Her loving nature touched many lives in her time on earth and her memory will be forever cherished.

 

Private family service will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2021.

I love you so very much Auntie you were my mom,when mom couldn't be. You gave me so much love and so much guidance through my life. you were always there and it didn't judge,You showed me right from wrong, you never turned me away and loved me as one of yours you will always be with me and always carry a very special place in my heart. please always watch over us and give mom and dad a hug for me and Grandma and Grandpa Cardwell and aunties and uncles. I love you all so much!!!! forever Auntie
