Donald E. A. Hoffman

September 3rd, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Eldon Arnold Hoffman announces his passing after a brave battle with cancer on September 3, 2020 at the age of 65 years.  Don was known for his love of travel, camping, fishing, playing crib, reading, and sitting by his fire. Don was a loyal rider fan, and had a love for bikes, and old cars.

Don’s greatest joys were spending time with his grandchildren, treating them to ice-cream and McDonalds, taking them for walks, and having cuddles. Don and Lorelei were able to enjoy some traveling, camping and creating long lasting memories with their family. Don will always be remembered for his kind heart, his love for people, talking, and for always being there to help anyone who needed it. Don will be deeply missed by his loyal pooch Teddy who rarely left his side.

Don was predeceased by his parents Stella and Alvin; daughter Jennifer; and niece Alannah. He is survived by his loving wife Lorelei; his son Benjamin Hoffman; children Ashley (Brady) and Tyler (Aileen); his pride and joy grandchildren Tianna, Alexia, Colt, Tripp, and Tate. Don is also survived by his sisters; his mother and father-in-law; his sisters and brother-in-law; and such very special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many cherished friends.

Thank you to all the Palliative Care Team and the Allan Blair Clinic – Don loved BBQ’s spending time with family and celebrating life – In remembering Don – sit down by your fire have a BBQ and reflect on the memories that he brought you (Don loved steak and shrimp).  Donations can be made in memory to Palliative Care or Allan Blair Clinic in Regina, or to a children’s charity of your choice.

Goodbyes are not forever; Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean “I’ll miss you” until we meet again.

A private family graveside service and family celebration will take place. We thank everyone for their love, support and help throughout our Journey.

With much love Lorelei and family.
