Ronnie Joseph Olynick

January 25th, 1950 ~ November 20th, 2019

Ronnie, late of Regina, SK, surrounded by family, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the age of 69 years. Sadly, he died from COPD. He was predeceased by his parents Pauline and Matt; brother Anthony; sisters Adeline and Sonya. Ronnie is survived by his wife Judy; his children Shayne, Shannon (Mike) and Sheldon; grandchildren Brooklyn, Tanner and Sienna; siblings Paul (Pat), Rose (Gord), Larry (Pat), Peter, Brian (Brenda), Albert (Debbie) and Danny (Laurinda); Ron was also close to his mother-in-law Olga and his sisters-in-law and their spouses Bev (Sal), Eileen (Del), Angie, Sandy (Doug) and Sherry (Gian); as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. Ron always liked to joke around. He sure loved to get a rise out of people. His sense of humor was like no one else’s. He had such a good heart and he just wanted everyone to be happy. If you knew Ron, he loved to work in the garage tinkering away on his restoration projects. Ron loved to garden and supplied everyone with tomatoes and tomato plants. Ron loved to watch sports (Rangers and the Riders). Ron also enjoyed take-out food or homemade meals made by his family. In his younger years he loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and sledding. Ron was a generous man and would do anything to help someone out. Papa loved to bug his granddaughter Sienna when she would come over. Ron worked most of his life at IPSCO. The family would like to thank the Saskatchewan Health Authority – Senior House Calls Program and the Regina General Hospital MICU unit for their dedication and excellent care they provided at this critical time. Ron will be missed but he is now at peace and can breathe again! We will love you forever and always.  A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Argyle North Community Association, 35 Davin Crescent, Regina, Saskatchewan (dress in your casual attire).
