Norman Edward Lockie

March 4th, 2019

Norm was born on January 24, 1935 in Ashern, Manitoba, the second of 7 children. He later moved to Broadview, SK with his parents Stuart and Esther. Upon finishing school he moved to Regina in 1955 and worked house construction. Thereafter he moved to Weston’s Bakery where he worked for 38 years. While there he started his own Moving Business – Norm’s Moving. So he had very little spare time. Lately he was involved with the Lawn Bowling Club. He loved sitting under his favorite Coconut tree with his beach buddies in Hawaii; he went for 35 years. He leaves behind his wife Mabel Lockie (Wilson); predeceased daughter Holly; son Kim Lockie (partner Trudy Paterson); grandson Brock (Tara) Lockie and their sons Braxton and Zander and daughter Anika; also his granddaughter Shanna (Harrison) Blizzard and their sons Oscar and Gunnar. We would like to thank the Regina Pasqua Hospital Unit 4B for their compassionate care of Norm and his family. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Heritage Alliance Church, 3575 Hillsdale Street, Regina, SK. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
