David Mark Zatylny

Dave was taken after a long-time battle with cancer on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 47 years. He fought till the bitter end. Dave was born and raised in Regina, SK. Dave was adopted by Helen and Julian Zatylny. He attended several Catholic Elementary Schools and Miller High School. Dave loved attending and watching Regina Pats hockey games and Saskatchewan Roughrider football games. He was devoted to going to work everyday. He didn’t miss a day. Dave will now be with his Dad Julian Zatylny and his grandparents. Dave is survived by his wife Chasity; sons Brayden and Trenten; Mom Helen; siblings Barb (Roger), Debbie (Gerald), Linda (Ron), Lyle (Joanne), Bernie (Andre), Margaret (Denis), and Cindy (Doug); brother-in-law Shane (Cathy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Turvey Centre, 100 Armour Road, Regina, SK. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memory of David, to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.

We will never forget all the hours spent on the ball diamond with Dave... he was a great contributor to our crazy Bobcats team in so many ways!! Sending our sincere condolences to all of his loved ones. Rest Easy Dave !!!

We are so sorry & saddened to hear about David’s passing. We remember David as a young boy who was a friend to our family as he lived just down the street from us. He was always so friendly even as the years passed. His happy smile and friendly visits will be such fond memories. Our deepest sympathy goes to David’s family and friends.

I wish I knew Dave longer than what I did. He was such a joy to be around. Just thinking of him puts a smile on my face. He loved his family so much and they will truly miss him. Dave will be sadly missed. His energy and spirit always radiated in any place he entered. May his unconditional love for his family and friends, bring memories to comfort you during this difficult time.
