Annamaria Bascelli

Annamaria (Marrone) Bascelli, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the age of 75 years.  She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Gino of 53 years, her daughter Daniela, son-in-law Cory and only granddaughter Natasha.  Nieces and nephews Giancarlo (Adela) Giannini, Marcello (Jennifer) and family, Sonia (Stuart); Vienna Sturby (Bruno), Adam of Calgary; Orazio (Rita) Giannini, Marco (Savanna) and family, Christina (Jaden), Roberto (Niki); Marina (Kevin) McCarron, Diana (Jason) and family of Kelowna, Michael of Calgary; and Roberto Giannini (Karin). With many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Italy.  Annamaria was predeceased by her parents Amadeo Marrone and Donata D’Archangelo, parents-in-law Angelo Bascelli and Graziella Crocetti, brother-in-law Benito Bascelli of Phoenix, Arizona, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Antonio and Giovanna Giannini of Regina, niece Adela Lina Giannini of Chieti, Italy.

 Annamaria was dedicated to her family, Italian Community, and all who knew her.  She was a talented seamstress from the time she was 16 years of age and an apprentice in Italy.  She continued to work hard even after her kidney transplant in May of 1998, nothing slowed her down. 

 Gino, Daniela, Cory and Natasha would like to thank everyone for their kind words, messages, phone calls and words of encouragement during this difficult time.

 A Celebration of Annamaria’s Life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Child Parish, 2636 – 7th Avenue, Regina, SK.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Saskatchewan.

I got to know Annamari when she worked at Sears;we will miss seeing her at the retiree lunches, she was a very nice lady. So sorry for your loss.

When I was a little girl Anna Maria made me a bow tie for my blouse. It was purple and it was fantastic. I thought I looked amazing! I remember thinking that Anna Maria could make anything. She whipped it up so fast. I loved her. She was kind to me. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in this time of loss. Rest In Peace Anna Maria.

I am so sad.. My heart hurts for you Gino, Daniela Cory & Natasha. Annamaria was loved by so many & was like a mother to me when we worked at Sears. Such a Talented women & would do anything for her family.. Much love to all of you .

Words can not express the deep sorrow felt by her passing. She has always been such a caring loving person who's sense of humor still makes me smile when I think of her. She will be greatly missed by us all. Our prayers are with you and your family. May she rest in everlasting peace. God Bless.
