Mary Ann Zipchian

Mary Ann Zipchian, late of Regina, SK passed away in the early morning of October 31, 2017 at the age of 65 years. Mary Ann was a friend and caregiver to all and put everyone before herself.  She enjoyed traveling and loved spending her time visiting with all of her family.  Mary Ann was predeceased by her father Byrrh (Bob) Overholt and sister-in-law Marilyn Overholt.  She is lovingly remembered by her mother Matilda Overholt, husband Ron Zipchian, daughter Janette (Shane) Smith, son Chad (Tenley) Zipchian, and her most precious grandchildren Jayden, Zach, Brittany and Ashley; brothers Ron Overholt, Don (Bernie) Overholt, Roger (Rose) Overholt, and David Overholt; sister-in-law Liz Zipchian; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her very special nieces and nephews; as well as many wonderful close friends.

The family would like to invite all who knew Mary Ann to join in a Celebration of her Life on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Jameson’s on Grant, 2104 Grant Road, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mary Ann to the South Saskatchewan Chapter - Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Dear Janette, Chad and family, I was very sad to hear of Mary Ann's passing. She was a co-worker for many years in Regina at the former Fish & Wildlife. She was very supportive and did a great job. I know she was very proud of the accomplishments of her children. My sincere condolences to the family. I have know Mary Ann for many, many years and considered her a friend. I know she will be sadly missed.

I was not only shocked but saddened to hear the sad news of Mary Ann's passing. We will always remember her for her kind nature and always smiling while lending a helping hand. She was everyone's friend, especially with Fisheries and Wildlife staff where I became acquainted with her, several years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. We went to high school together and had many many laughs and fun times. A good person taken too soon.
