Martha Evelyn Dillman

November 8th, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Evelyn Dillman our mother, grandma and GG.  Martha passed away Sunday, November 8th, 2020, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Martha was born in Oxbow, SK on July 30th, 1934 to George and Ida Goodchild.  On May 23, 1959 Martha married Adam Dillman, settling in Alameda, SK., and raising two daughters, Lisa and Brenda.  Martha and Adam retired to their acreage outside of Kenosee Lake where she enjoyed gardening, golfing and flea markets at the Red Barn.  Martha loved all animals. She had numerous pets throughout her life which included a deer, racoon, squirrel and many dogs and cats, too numerous to mention.  In 2005, Martha and Adam moved to Red Deer to be closer to family.

Martha was predeceased by her loving husband, Adam in 2010.  Martha was dearly loved by her daughter, Lisa Dillman, and her children, Courtney (Brandon) [Matieo, Dominic and Jack Stender], Adam (Kelsey) Wilcott [Nixon, Rowan, Ashton and Adaleia], Sarah Dillman and Lara Dillman; and her daughter, Brenda Bourhis and her children, Drew, Cody-Jo, and Tiffany.

At Martha’s request there will be no funeral. Paying forward an act of kindness, or if so desired, a donation to animal rescue Klassic Kennels or Zoe’s Animal Rescue, would honor her memory.
