Messages:

I believe Helen McMorland was my grade one teacher at SS#4 Puslinch, a one-room school just north of the village of Aberfoyle and south of Guelph, Ontario on hwy 6. That would be 1953-54. She would have been about 25 years of age. (I was 5.) I have fond memories of her as my very kind and very pretty first teacher. Did she ever speak of teaching at this one-room school?

For many years Helen was a member and great supporter of the Vancouver Dixieland Jazz Society. She enjoyed the Dixieland jazz music, participating and volunteering at many of our festivals. Helen will be remembered by her jazz friends.

Daye and George. Helen was such a good natured person with a smile everyday. She was always polite with kind things to say. She was a great neighbor for 25 years. We enjoyed many laughs together, sometimes with Gin in hand. My sincere condolences, Brian Lavorato

Thinking with fond memories back when Helen played the piano at Whalley Presbyterian Church and for our choir. Helen was also a good neighbour to us for over 30 years. Thank you Helen.

So sorry to hear of your Moms passing Daye what a beautiful person she was Love & Prayers to you and George.

Daye, We send our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your Mom. We have good memories of you and your Mom during those "formative" ballet years at Canadian Dance World. Such good times. Take good care. Sincerely, Bonnie, Nancy and Helvie McNaughton

Daye and George, will always remember Helen as a special person, my cousin, who lived her life well while sharing her enormous capacity for love and many talents with her family, and all the wonderful friends and animals she met along the way. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Am very proud to be your cousin, too. Love, Pat

We remember the lovely smiling Helen from our very early years of teaching music. She and Ian were always so supportive and we have many fond memories of Helen and Daye performing at our recitals. May these good memories live on your hearts. With our sincerest condolences, Jim and Susan
