Messages:

Dear Colleen, We will miss Mike by your side, a terrific husband and companion. Through the years, he has been unforgettable, as evidenced by the huge turnout of friends, team-mates, neighbours, relatives at his splendid Memorial Service. It was wonderful to be there, and to witness the respect that he had engendered in many areas, most particularly in your family, Colleen. It is gratifying to know that you and your network of beautiful children are so close and supportive, and to realize that you made Mike's life a dream come true. God bless you.

Colleen, our love and prayers as you celebrate a good neighbors life this Friday. Many good things will be shared that day. May the tributes and the memories of many years bring comfort to you and the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. May you find peace and comfort in your memories, and in the arms of your family and friends. With love and deepest sympathy. Betty

TO MIKE'S FAMILY My condolences to you on your loss, We were roommates in the Flin Flon barracks. It is poignant his passing should occur at this time of the year. He had received an LP as a gift and that was about all we listened to for the next 2 or 3 weeks, an enduring memory. Unfortunately we lost track of each other in recent years. He was a true and good hearted friend.

I was blessed to have Mike & Colleen visit us to see our new home this past summer. We had plenty of laughs, talks and good food. Reminded me of the old times in Port Coquitlam. Now drive that trailer Mike to your next great adventure.

Mike, rest in peace my friend. I will miss our chats in your living room while watching hockey and your so many funny stories. I will always remember the little glint in your eye testing to see if your latest "true" story was flying. You were a very good man!

Coleen, our hearts are with you Mike was a wonderful friend and companion for both Mandy and I on our own pathway through life. We will always cherish his happy outlook and his great smile will remain a permanent living memory. Thanks Mike. Bill and Mandy

I am the youngest of the four siblings, Mike being seven years older. While growing up before he joined the RCMP, he would always be around to play catch, or crib. He was probably one of the reasons that I too joined the. Force. He married Vivian McLeod from Swan River, and through that relationship I ended up marrying her little sister. Second generation for that in my family. Mike was in Manitoba and later Ottawa and then back to Winnipeg so we didn’t get to see much of each other over the years. He will always be my big brother. Rest In Peace bro, maybe you and Dad can try out the fly fishing together. Will always love and miss you.

On behalf of your Simoes cousins I want to express our heartfelt condolences to Colleen, Kelly, Heather, Pat and their families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

May the God Lord let you rest in peace Mike. We will remember the good times. listen to the pipes calling you home. Love to Colleen and your family/. From your sister pat, terry ,noelle, daynen , tristan Pagura.

Michael was a loving brother to me and my siblings, Patricia and Terry. We were saddened that he suffered for such a long period of time. We are grateful that we were able to spend a short time with him in November. We will miss him, his laughter and jokes. Rest in Peace my dear Brother.
