Judith Adele Howren

September 12th, 2018

Port Moody, BC: Judith Adele Howren, 66, Mother and dear friend to all, passed away peacefully with son by her side on September 7, 2018.

An avid traveler, movie lover, a great cook, and incredible gardener; Judy’s real and abiding passion were her family and friends.

Judy sought to instill in her friendships a zest for life, and the power of a smile.
Judy is survived by her Son Michael Howren, Brother Mick Howren, Sister Wendy Rowe, and preceded in death by her Brother Gord Howren.

The family asks that you “spend time with your children, take a walk on the beach with your loved ones, and
make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond; this is what Judy would wish for you.”

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Ovarian Cancer Canada.

Messages:

Judy, Wendy and Mickey were childhood friends of mine. We grew up on the same block, our parents were best friends. I reconnected with Judy and Wendy on Facebook just a couple of years ago to discover that she was loving, caring and as vibrant as she was when she was a young girl. I was hoping we could visit this spring when I get back to BC. I am heartbroken at her passing and can no longer contain my tears.

you will be sorely missed judy. my deepest condolences to mike and the howren family.

I worked with Judy for many years when I was with Corus Entertainment. What a bright light she was. I can still picture her smile and hear her laugh. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.

Our deepest sympathy. A wonderful spirit and ray of sunshine gone far too soon. May she rest in peace.
