Messages:

We are deeply sorry to hear of Fern's passing. We fondly remember his smile, his kindness, his wit and his never ending supply of knowledge on every topic. For a magical time Fern was a special father in law and grandfather in our lives and he will always have a special place in our hearts. Our deepest sympathy to the family and a big hug to Cecile.

I was saddened to read of Fernand's passing this morning. Our paths crossed many times and in many ways since 1961. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. My sympathies to Cecile, Anita and the rest of the family. May the love that Fern showed all of you comfort you now and in the days to come.

Chère soeur et tante Cécile, et a toute la famille, nous vous offrons nos sympathies. Our dear brother and uncle Fern was an inspiration to us all. He will be remembered for his warm demeanor, his sense of humour and his devotion to his family and community. I personally have so many wonderful memories of my dear uncle. From the family trip to the Maritimes when I was twelve to the more recent sailing trip in Haida Gwaii. These are moments that I will cherish forever. Our thoughts and love are with you in this difficult time and always. Love, Jean-Paul et Donat Lebert

WE ARE DEEPLY SORRY TO HEAR OF FERNS PASSING. OUR CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL, AS WE WILL BE OUT OF TOWN. WE WILL BE THINKING ABOUT YOU.
