It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother & grandmother, Joyce Nicoud, on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Joyce will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter, Lillian; sons, Jimmy, David (Cyndy) & Mark (Carolyn); grandchildren, Michelle (John), Adam, Jennifer, Sidney, Stephen, Sam (Tara) & Nicole; great-grandchildren, Madison, Faith, Jep, Abel, Diamond, Emerson & Danica.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Felix; her parents, John & Eva Powers; brothers, sisters & her son, Ted (Teddy).
Joyce will be fondly remembered for her “wit”, incredible sense of humor and big heart.
Due to the current restrictions, the immediate family will be having a small private gathering.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joyce’s name may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary, 800 – 7015 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary, AB, T2H 2K6 or to the Airdrie Bethany Care Center, 1736 – 1st Avenue NW, Airdrie, AB T4B 2C4.

To all of Joyce's family.. I send you all my sincere condolences on your loss. I am a volunteer at Bethany and always enjoyed my visits with Joyce. I loved taking her for strolls though Bethany and have missed seeing her so much the past 1.5 years.I did go there on Halloween and was thrilled to see "my" girl...and as always she looked up with her big smile and a chuckle!! I loved her humour and she sure made me laugh with the things she said. Treasure your memories and she will always be in your heart.
R.I.P. Mom. You will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers, but you are finally at rest and not suffering any more. We love you and miss you.
