1931 - 2021

Marie passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at the age of 90 from congestive heart failure. Marie was born March 29, 1931 in Provost, Alberta.

She was raised on the Brost farm, eventually moving away to work. She met Alfred Bley and they were married in 1959 & Alfred died in 1976. Marie leaves behind 2 daughters, Bernadine in Airdrie, with her husband Alwyn and 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Aaron and great grandchild Riley; as well as Karen in Vancouver with husband, Dave and 2 grandsons, Tyler and Bradley.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in Airdrie for immediate family only.

A hardworking loving mother and grandmother, she was happiest surrounded by her grandchildren…..Rest in Peace ❤️

Sorry to hear about Auntie Marie's passing. I have fond memories from when I stayed with her in Saskatoon while taking my management studies at Coop College. She had such a great sense of humor. To Bernie, Karen and your families, we are thinking about you. Cherish your memories and share the many stories you have. They are worth repeating. Stay safe. Take care.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Marie’s passing. Wonderful that she got to enjoy a brief visit with her great-grandchild in her final days. We all remember fondly the visits we had with Aunt Mary and send thoughts and condolences to Bernie and Karen and their families.
