It is with great sadness the family of Patricia Pile announces her sudden passing on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Patricia is lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years, Alan Pile of Calgary; and her daughter, Diamond (Jacques) of Dubai; and precious granddaughters, Coco-Rose and Halo-Ann. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Rosemary, on March 31, 2020; and her father, Jim, in 2019.
Patricia was a beloved member of St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in Airdrie. She was also involved with the Airdrie Regional Arts Society, and volunteering with Iron Horse Park and Supertrain. Patricia’s laughter, and love of life will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held online from St. Francis of Assisi, Airdrie, on Friday April 17, 2020 at 9:00 am. A Memorial Service, with family present, will be held at a later date.

So sad, words can not express my sympathy for the family and especially for Diamond and the girls. Loosing Grandma was one thing but then to loose your Mum, Diamond had to be a real shock for you. Patricia will be laid to rest along side our parents at Alto-Rest Cemetery in Red Deer on Friday August 20th at 1:00 pm with a Tea to follow at The Golden Circle. Please join us!

Alan, Diamond, and family I was truly saddened to hear of Oats sudden passing. Know that she is home with her mom and dad, living a pain free life. Know she is never far away, Diamond your mom will always be there for you to talk to when you tell her how your kids are doing. Alan you will always be the love of her life, as she will be yours, she will always be there to guide you in the "am I going this right" moments of your life. Thinking of you all.

My deepest sympathies to Alan, daughter Diamond and all of the family in the loss of Patricia, wife and mother and grandmother. Patricia welcomed me warmly to St. Francis of Assisi church when I came as a visitor several times with my daughter in Aidrie. She always asked about me and I truly valued that caring. May God bless her as she is with her Lord in paradise. She will be greatly missed; she was a loving and dear soul.
With heartfelt condolences, we will miss Patricia. I (Penney) especially will miss teasing her, laughing with her while we kick out the youth from the train show and give the vendors/exhibitors a hard time. You will be missed Patricia. I am sad that we aren't going to be able to have a proper funeral/service. She was an amazing Aunt and a very caring person. She inspired me to be a better person as she was always looking out for her fellow man. She will truly be missed and I hope we can do something to celebrate her life once this is all over.
Pat was my second mom growing up. She and Alan we're always there with a kind word and loving support through those hectic teenage years. I am so sorry for your loss, Alan and Diamond. She was such a strong spirit and an amazing person.

Dear Diamond So sad to hear about the loss of your Mum it was a shock to all of us, please reach out whenever you need as I will always be here for you. Your Mum was the first grandchild in the Howell family and everyone of us wanted to look after her, poor little thing we all had to take turns at holding her and play time. She had a challenging life but once you came along and grew up you changed all that and she will be eternally grateful. You gave her a life style she never would have had without you.
