BADER, Adrian

November 12, 1989 - April 8, 2019

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Adrian Theadore Bader, of Calgary, Alberta, on Monday, April 08, 2019 at the age of 29.

Adrian is survived by his father, Adrian (Ted) Bader and step mother, Tammy Bader; his mother, Peggy Vail; brother, Julian Uptegrove, and his wife, Corrine Uptegrove, and their children; Daisy and Lacey. Also, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends.

Adrian was predeceased by his grandparents, LaVerna Bader-Glynn and Adrian Theadore Bader; also Phil Brown; Aunt Vicki Vervena and dear friend, Braydon Gordon.

Adrian was loved by many for his contagious smile and bountiful energy. He always had a selfless desire to help anyone that may have needed it. This was especially true on the paintball field, where he helped everyone from young kids starting out, to older people stepping on the field for the first time. Whether it was standing up for the little kids, donating equipment or just coaching and giving tips.

Adrian played at a high level of competition for the CPPL and the NPPL in both, Canada and the USA, where he won on many levels. Everyone knew him as "Bader" at Bragg Creek Paintball, where he played. He made many friends, some of whom he would consider family.

He loved the outdoors and nature in general. He had a passion for camping, quading and family time. Adrian enjoyed fast cars, whether American muscle or imports.

An electrician by trade, he spent a lot of time out of town, but always made time for the sport he loved.

Adrian will be remembered for his leadership skills in the sport and will be sadly missed by everyone.

A Celebration of Life for Adrian will be held at The Bowness Community Hall, 7904-43 Ave NW on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Jumpstart http://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/en.html in Adrian Bader’s name.
