Gerald Stuart Wren

WREN - Gerald Stuart passed away suddenly at his home January 25th 2018; just one day after his 92nd birthday.  Jerry will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his four children, Donald (Janette), Beverley (Gary), Valerie and Brenda, and his nine grandchildren, Fiona  (Mike), Oliver (Sheri), Rebecca (Dellas), Angela (Russ), Pamela, Jason, Christopher, Logan and Travis, 5 great grand children, Eilan, Adric, Grayson, Elaina, Augustus, Omni, and Niko.  He was predeceased by the love of his life, Joyce nee Clinch in 2008, his brothers, Joe Wren, Jack Wren and his sister Jocelyn Fitts. Jerry was very fond of his family and liked to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jerry was known for his quick wit, compassion, and his ability to make everyone feel at ease. He had a love of listening to audio books, following both hockey (the Flames) and football (the Stampeders), and spent many hours doing crossword puzzles. Jerry was born at Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Calgary with his family when he was three years old. He grew up in Mission living on 4th Street SW where he and his siblings had great fun growing up.  His artistic and creative ability allowed him to excel in his career in Advertising and Public Relations.
