Kenneth David Lovett

The family of Kenneth "Kenny" Lovett regrets to announce his sudden passing at the age of 56 on December 21, 2018, in Calgary. Kenny is lovingly remembered by his wife, Louise; stepdaughter, Amy Leger; Dad, David; brother, Kevin (Judy); sister, Karen Keith; brother, Korry; brother, Kolin; stepbrother, Lindsay Doiron (Kim); stepsister, Kelly Doiron; niece, Jennifer; niece, Whitney Howe (David); nephew, Alex; niece, Sarah; many extended family and friends. Kenny was predeceased by his mother, Joan Lovett in 1997, and his stepmother Millie Lovett in 2016.

1980-1986 Kenny served in the Canadian Forces as a transport trucker with 1 Svc Bn, TN Coy, Calgary, AB, and with the Airborne Regiment, Svc Commando, Petawawa, Ontario.

1990-2013 Kenny was highly regarded by many of his friends in the Calgary community through his 23-year Bar/PR Manager career at Peanuts Sports Pub, and his lifelong passion for football, broomball, and slow-pitch league participation.

In Kenny’s final few years he was employed by the Commissionaires of Canada at the Calgary International Airport.

A Celebration of Kenny’s Life will be held at the Carriage House Inn, 9030 Macleod Trail South, Calgary, Alberta (403) 253-1101. The venue room is the Desert Palms on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenny's memory to a Children's Hospital of your choice.

Ran into Kenny just last summer we talked a while, had some good laugh, he was always a great friend and we will all miss him. May his Family have great memories as we have, God bless the family during this tough time.

Kenny.....we've been friends forever. Even if we just got together now and then it was as if no time had ever passed. I remember taking you on your first skiing trip!!! What a riot!!!! You were bruised and hurt but sooo proud of yourself for concurring the black diamonds!!! You were amazing!! Slo-Pitch was always a fantastically fun time. We will miss you always.
