Roy Brenton Fulton

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Fulton on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 81. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Shirley; Daughters, Lynn (Pete) and Tammie; grandchildren, Kevin (Tia), Katrina (Richard), Nicole (Joseph); great-grandchildren Isabelle, Alexis, Addison; Papa's beloved new friends, Jamie, Austin and Hunter; siblings, Bryant (Beth), Donald (Sue), Mary (Harold) Schroeder, Lealand (Hanna), Theodore, Jean (Robert) Jokela, Gerald (Carol), Leslie, John, Betty (Stan) Carroll; sister-in-law, Francis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Roy was predeceased by siblings, Herman, Douglas, James, and Ina; and sisters-in-law, Yvonne and Sharon. Roy was born in Upper Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, to parents Harry and Winnifred Fulton and was the fifth of fifteen children. In 1961 he married the love of his life, Shirley and together they moved to Warner, Alberta where they raised their daughters. In 1971 they moved to Crossfield, Alberta where Roy worked as a Grain Elevator Agent for many years. Roy had a passion for cars and this was obvious with his involvement in Demolition Derbies and in later years fixing and racing vintage cars such as Model T`s and Jeeps. A Memorial Service will be held at Crossfield and District Community Hall, 900 Mountain Avenue, Crossfield, Alberta on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada, #220, 6223 - 2 Street SE, Calgary, Alberta T2H 1J5.

 

Messages:

Shirley and family i just saw that Mr Fulton passed on. I have so many great memories of this man and his passion for his cars and all his bad jokes and witty comments, growing up in Crossfield. I will miss him dearly.
