Jacqueline was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario and grew up in Port Arthur. She completed her post-secondary education in Ontario and then worked for the Mayor’s office in Thunder Bay. Port Arthur was a very special place for Jacqueline and she was proud to be from there. She loved her brothers and sister and many cousins from the area. She married Bob Cordiner in 1960 and moved to Winnipeg where Bob and his parents were located. Both Bob and Jacqueline were longtime residents of Windsor Park and had a beautiful Cottage in Grand Marais, MB, where the family spent their summers for decades.

She is a person who loved to travel and spent many winters in Victoria, BC. Jacqueline had a great love for the outdoors and spending time with her canine lab kids. She was a longtime member of The Eastern Star and The Windsor Park United Church in Winnipeg. Jacqueline helped in many charity events and teas and always was a great wife/partner to Bob and a wonderful mother to Lauralee and Bill.

Mom, we love you and will miss you greatly! We know you are at peace and with God. Jacqueline’s wishes were to be cremated and to be placed in the Family plot in The St. Vital Cemetery at a later date.

Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of Strathmore Hospital and a special thanks to Dr. O’Brien.
