I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Micheal. I knew him for a few years while he lived in Stoney Creek. He was a very kind man, who undoubtedly loved his family. It's truly a shame that he has passed at such a young age. Diabetes can be a tough illness to navigate and in Mike's case especially. I wish him peace and comfort now as he is no longer suffering. My love and condolences go out to all of those affected by his passing. May you all too find peace and support as your journey begins without this special man.

After he moved away, it was like one of my favorite parts of living in Calgary had been torn away. There was always fun to be had at Mike's home with his daughter, wife, his mother, and his two beautiful dogs. We didn't talk a lot after you moved, but I always missed you. Always had a good laugh when I'd call you "the neighbors", instead of "dad", and you'd get so offended, or when Shelby or Missy would get up to their usual shenanigans. I always wanted to see you again, go for a drink, catch up and just laugh like we used to. Hope you're in a better place, "dad". Rest in Peace, Mike!

Wish we had been in touch with each other when you were growing up.. I got to know you just a short time before you left this world, and, I hope you are in a better place. Both you and my brother passed much too early and if there is an after life, my wish would be that the two of you mend your broken relationship. Love Cookie

Rest in peace Mike. It is unfortunate that none of us can escape this...it is coming for all of us, but you are gone way too soon. I don't have alot of cousins, and our numbers are shrinking. Give my mom a kiss for me......

You are not in pain any more. You are at Peace. You are with Carter who you called Pa no doubt having the odd beer, sherry and of course the odd Glayva. Plus all your other friends that you missed. We, Carter and I plus the girls, Kelsey and Kate use to call you the Tooth Fairy as both girls can thank you for their lovely teeth. We had great trips to Mexico. A lot of fun was had. I am so going to miss your infectious laugh and giggle. Until we all meet again... Remembering you and the good times always....... Beryl (Ma)

Tell me, what does it look like in heaven? Is it peaceful is it free like they say? Does the sun shine bright forever? Have your fears and your pain gone away? Cause here on earth it feels like everything good is missing, since you left And here on earth everything's different, there's an emptiness Oh-oh-oh I, I hope you're dancing in the sky And I hope you're singing in the angels' choir And I hope the angels, know what they have I bet it's so nice up in heaven since you've arrived Now tell me, what do you do up in heaven? Are your days filled with love and light? Is there music? Is there art and invention? Tell me are you happy? Are you more alive? Cause here on earth it feels like everything good is missing, since you left And here on earth everything different, there's an emptiness. Oh-oh-oh I, I hope you're dancing in the sky And I hope you're singing in the angels' choir And I hope the angels know what they have I bet it's so nice up in heaven since you've arrived I hope you're dancing in the sky And I hope you're singing in the angels' choir And I hope the angels know what they have I bet it's so nice up in heaven since you've arrived Since you've arrive........This omg says it all I'm still in shock & can't believe this has really happened...gone way to soon...May u always Rest In Peace....xoxo

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a vibrant family man and will be missed by many. I will remember him as a fine neighbor and dear friend who kindly took on the role of 'honorary dad' to my young daughter many years ago. Peace be with you, sir.

Sandra & Family: Larry and I are very sorry for your lose. We regret never getting to meet Mike. May he rest in peace.
