Pauline Marie Delia Carpenter

CARPENTER, Pauline Marie Delia

Pauline Delia Carpenter [nee Charlebois] was born in Montreal on April 28, 1925 and left Calgary for heaven on Monday, October 16, 2017.  She grew up in Montreal and married Paul Carpenter in 1944.

On a visit to Edmonton for her daughter Lucy’s wedding, she gave her life to Jesus and along with her husband entered into an adventure that saw them live in Melfort & Eston, SK as well as Calgary, AB.

Mrs. C. as she was known, was a friend and confidante to many over the years and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a homemaker, was involved with her church family, volunteered in the kitchen at Eston College, loved water fights at camp and teasing everyone was a given.

Pauline will be lovingly remembered by son, Marcel; daughters, Lucy & Susan [Patrick]; sister, Theresa; grandchildren, Heidi [Chauncey], Richard [Dawn], Matthew, Tina Erica and Martine; and great grandchildren, Liam & Jonah. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; parents, Lorne & Beatrice; sister, Yvonne; son in law, Wayne and grandson, Jeff. We will miss that mischievous smile, the wicked gleam in her eye and a contagious sense of humor that barely concealed a heart of gold.

Nos Condoléance A famille Charlebois et Carpenter

We are so thankful to the Lord for Mamma; her life and her testimony. She was one of a kind; and she certainly made a profound impact on we who loved her ; and were blessed enough to be her children. Keeping you in thought and prayer, Marcel, Lucille , Heidi and Richard; and we are with you in spirit. Hugs....

Aunt Pauline, you had always been a special person to me. For the years we have known each other you were always very supportive and loving. I will miss you.

Though many years have gone by since our paths crossed with the lovely lady Pauline, we recall her with fondness. You will miss her dearly, but a grand reunion awaits. Please accept our condolences.

To the children and extended family of Pauline Carpenter - please accept my sympathy and condolences on the loss of a mother and grandmother. I first met Mrs. Carpenter in 1962 as the long-suffering mother of my school friend Marcel. She had a wry, even sarcastic humour, that we were frequently the recipients of. I believe she was an understanding mother - she must have been! - always there when needed. Her last years were difficult, I understand, and her release timely, yet the sorrow at her passing is keenly felt by those close to her. I am thinking of you during these sad times. Reg Porter

We are so sorry to hear if your Mom's passing but are so happy to know she is with Her Lord and Savior safe in the arms of Jesus. She was loved and will be missed by all of us who knew her. She was a Godly women of comparison and love. We will remember her always and be so blessed for all the memories we shared with her.

I have fond memories of Mrs. C, her sense of humor, homemade pasta, and just hanging out together. A wonderful lady, she will be missed but knowing her- she’s having a blast with Jesus ❤️
