KNIGHT, Lori Lynn
August 22, 1961 – May 15, 2016

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lori Knight on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the age of 54 years. She was born in Wiarton, ON, daughter of Roger & Anne Knight. Lori was initially raised in Ontario until moving west to Alberta in 1976 with her family. She is lovingly remembered and will be forever cherished by her life partner, Bruce Marshall; stepson, Damon; parents, Roger & Anne Knight (nee Pfeiffer); sister, Carmen (David) Johnson; niece & nephew, Ashton & Kyle; and extensive extended family of aunts, uncles & cousins. She’ll also be greatly missed by many dear friends whom were especially close to her. Lori had a long career in the Oil & Gas industry as a technician for various service companies. Of special note, she returned to Ontario one year to work for a seismic company and that's when she truly fell in love with Rock 'n Roll. She was well known in her community of MacEwan (Calgary, AB) where many of her closest relationships were formed. She simply loved life, treasured the company of her friends & neighbors, and adored all animals (especially her pets, Nut & Bolt). Lori's sweet disposition, infectious laughter and generous spirit will be held in the hearts of all who knew her: "Always remember and never forget, I Love You!"

A Celebration of Lori’s Life will be held at the Beddington Heights Community Arts Centre , 375 Bermuda Dr. NW, Calgary, AB on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lori’s memory to the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS), Bay G 3851-21 Street NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 6T5, Phone: (403) 250-7377, www.aarcs.ca in special support of the Fort McMurray Fire Assistance Fund. Lori's smile will always be my favorite memory. When all us cousins could get together, we were able to share a lot of laughing and fun times. May those precious moments warm our hearts. Our love and thoughts go to Uncle Roger, Tante Anna, Carmen, David and all those who loved her.
