I choose to remember those times that I would visit and laugh with Uncle Bud at my Mom and Dad's in Chandler, Arizona. I remember his tiny little camper sitting in their back yard. I remember the little dog, Bandit, who lived next door thought he was the greatest. Maybe it was due to the treats! I believe Uncle Bud had a full life and did many things we would all like to do. Now he is on another wonderful adventure.

I was saddened to hear that Jack has passed away. I tried to keep in touch over the years after he retired, but different paths eventually lessened our contact. I will remember Jack and the many years we worked together at CPRail, first he as my boss, and then I was his boss as time went by. We always were able to work well together and enjoyed our crib games during lunch breaks. He always asked about my wife and sons and how happy he was for us. My fondest memories will be the times he took me to his gold claim in BC to pan for gold. This was a big check mark off my life's bucket list and not too many people had the privilege to go there with him. Those cold nights in his tiny camper were always ones to talk about...... I'm sorry for your loss. Jack was a great friend to me and I too will miss him. Earl Lacey
