It is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to this woman who touched so many lives. The angels took her home to a place of peace on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the age of 82 years. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 59 years, Gerry; all 7 of her children, Rod (Willy), Ken (Rita), Russ (Angela), Dawn, Colleen (Ian), Leslie (Greg) & Karin (Tony); 23 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; plus one presently on its way that she hasn’t even had the pleasure of meeting yet. She also leaves behind a brother, Ken (Dea); sister-in-law, Pearl; a brother-in-law, Wilf (Doreen) and too many nephews, nieces and friends to list. She will be missed by all who were honoured to know her.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 4302 – 57 Avenue, Olds, AB on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM. A gathering will be held after the service in the Parish Hall, with inurnment at the Didsbury Cemetery.
