March 23, 1931 – August 17, 2015

Keith, beloved son, brother, and friend passed away at Dulcina Hospice Manor in Calgary at the age of 84 years. He was born in Ottawa, ON to parents, Frances (Frappier) and Arthur Babcock. Keith spent 45 years in the public sector, which includes 33 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Keith was passionate about golf, curling and the Royal Canadian Legion, where he donated his time, especially going to schools each year talking about the importance of Remembrance Day. After retiring, he moved to Barrhead and for the last four years he lived in Airdrie, AB.

Keith is survived by his brother, Frank (Renee) of Hamilton, ON; sister-in-law, Grace of Bedford, NS; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Fred, Sidney, Allan, Thurlo, Grant; and long time companion, Lenore.

Keith was passionate about life and gave freely of his time and energy to those needing help. He will be greatly missed by family; friends, Darlene, Clarence and Gail; and companion, Florence; and so many other friends whose hearts he touched.

We are very thankful to the staff of Dulcina Hospice for their compassion and wonderful care given to Keith. A Celebration of Keith’s Life was held in the Barrhead Royal Canadian Legion, 5026 – 51 Street, Barrhead, AB on Sunday, August 23, 2015 following a Graveside Service at 11:00 am at the Field of Honour at the Anglican Cemetery.
