Helen Elizabeth Bradley (nee Fleming)

August 10th, 2013

Born June 29, 1933 in Almonte, Ontario and passed away in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, August 10,  2013. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years Keaton; sons Steve, Ted and stepson Scott; siblings Edna Fleming and Glenn Fleming of Calgary, Etta Wilson of Ottawa and Doug Fleming of Pakenham, Ontario. This Ottawa Valley girl was a pioneer in the settlement of Rainbow Lake in 1967, returning to Calgary in 1970. Member of the Desk & Derrick Club of Calgary from 1978 and Honorary member from 1996. She was  very generous with her time as a Hockey Mom, charity bingo volunteer, and care giver to friends in need. She enjoyed life, loved to laugh, and will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. I've belonged to Desk and Derrick since 1982 where I met Helen. She was always a positive and happy person and her compassion touched many..Helen was laways willing to help with any project or anyone that needed assistance. Remember those who touch our lives stay in our hearts forever.

Dear Keaton, Edna, Steve and Ted: I am so saddened to hear the loss of Helen. I'm comforted by knowing that we had a few giggles and a very nice visit last time I stopped by the house to see her. She was one very special lady, as you all know. My memory of her will last forever. Condolences to all of you, may you gain strenght by all the positives you will carry and remember of Helen.
