Harley Sewell was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 18, 1935, and passed away January 6, 2024, in Langley after a short illness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Harley loved to laugh and play pool. But he was happiest when spending time with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always known to come up with creative solutions to help his family and friends.

Harley was also a great storyteller - some of his stories were even true!

He is also survived by his brother, Don; sister, Joyce; 22 nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joe, and Georgina; brother, Trevor; and sister, Barbara.

A private family celebration of life is to follow at a later date. For online condolences please go to www.MyAlternatives.ca.

Messages:

Our deepest condolences to Sharon and family. Harley will always be remembered for his good-hearted spirit. He always took the time to connect with us as kids. Your heart and home have always been open to us. Thank you.

Harley and I met in 1947, when we were 12 years old. Our friendship was immediate and lasting to the point that he was my best buddy. I can, and have, added to the stories he tells. Mostly true with some embellishments. We often disagreed on assorted topics, which didn’t dilute our friendship, but strengthened it. My condolences to Sharon and family. El Hancox.p
