She had a hardy laugh, wonderful sense of humor, love for kids, animals, candy, chocolate bars, playing cards, knitting, puzzles, goodies and naps.

She lived her life with narcolepsy which was debilitating at times but she got through it with strength and humor..she also developed lewy body dementia 5 years ago that progressed rapidly yet she marched on, again with strength and humor. A beautiful smile and a heart of gold..you will be so missed Mom, may you get the rest and peace in heaven that you so deserve. At Bab’s request no Funeral Service will be held at this time.  A huge thank you to the entire staff and care team at Airdrie Bethany who continue to go above and beyond every day. You are all very compassionate, brave, angels among us, and to all who cared for and touched Mom's life along her journey; we are forever grateful.

Messages:

My condolences to Cheryl and all Babs' family. I worked with Babs at Eaton's - what a personality! She was lots of fun and also full of knowledge that she was happy to share with me, and I was just a kid. I still tell a story she told me about sitting in the doctor's office with her grandson. He was going to daycare and had picked up a few new words but had no idea what they meant. He was sitting on her lap in the doctor's waiting room and looked up at her - reached up to stroke her cheek and said something like "Nami, I love you. You're a b*tch." Babs laughed so hard telling that story and so did everyone else. Thinking about her now, I remember that laugh.

Sending our love and prayers to you and your family , Cheryl.

Sending sincere condolences to the family. Whenever I volunteered at Bethany I always enjoyed my chats and visits with Babs. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss we will all miss her very much

My condolences cousins

I remember when she & her friend would come to the downtown transit office for their passes, so full of life & laughter. It was a treat to serve them.

She was the best second Mom a teenager could have wished for. She knit me slippers when I needed them and smacked me with one when I needed it... all in good fun, or course. My heart is with you. Treasured memories are yours forever.

Sending all my love and prayers to you all .. thank you for the laughs a memories of seeing you with The kids Namie .. your memory will live on always .. Rest In Peace ❤️

Hugs and love to all of you
