Glory, you and I knew each other when we were still playing dress up so I got to know Mel from the start of the "courtin" days. His joyfulness and sense of adventure were marvelous to behold. My deepest sympathy to you, your kids and families. He'll be busy tinkering away.

We met as neighbours in Blackfalds AB and our daughters grew together. Thank you so much for considering me as such a good friend that you would continue to update me about Mel's trials. He was so very strong, as are you, and I entirely understand the decisions that were made by him, and for him on his behalf. It is a terribly sad day for you, of course, and for all of us that care greatly for both of you. All my love, Margo

Dear Glory & Family! I am so sorry to hear of Mel's passing. In all the years that I worked with Glory at Insituform, it was always such a treat to talk with Mel when he came to the office, or at a company function, and be at the receiving end of his infectious smile. He was a character of epic proportions, tempered by Glory's patience of course, and I appreciated his joie de vivre. Please accept my sincerest of condolences for your loss.
