I am very sad to hear of Jason's passing. I have very fond memories of coaching him in Midget and Junior - he always had the ability to make his teammates laugh and enjoy the moment. Kristy, my deepest sympathies and condolences, Kevin Forsen

Dear Kirsty, My heart sank for Jason and you when I heard he was ill. Being in his grad class, and realizing how young 46 is, it has pained me greatly. We prayed faithfully for both of you this past year and although he was not given a miraculous healing, God has not forgotten you or him. God will be faithful to your heart and your needs. We will continue to pray alongside you now. Jason was an incredibly talented in sports and I will always remember how kind and respectful he was to me in school. We were seat partners the entire year in Gr. 6! I wondered why the teacher did that but I remember thinking school had never been so fun! We were often paired together in group projects during our older years at school. I remember he made me laugh, me trying to be over academic and him trying to bring more joy into the task at hand. He was right

Our sincere condolences to the entire Trottier family and also to the Mason family. Far too young but he put up a good fight.

Our thoughts are with the Trottier Family, we have so many wonderful memories together and though we didn't keep in touch over the years; you were a very important part of my life (our lives). You will be sadly missed but fondly remembered and I will continue to brag about your hockey skills and your natural talent as an athlete. My parents send their condolences to you Anne Marie and JP. I haven't talked to or seen Jason in over 20 years since I moved away from Carstairs to Innisfail but sure had some great memories with Jason when I played hockey! He was an amazing kind hearted cool young man. He was a few years younger than me but I sure looked up to him in the 90's. He was an amazing skilled hockey player! Sure wished I kept in touch with him over the years. He will be sadly missed by everyone who loved him and had the honor of knowing him. GOD BLESS to Jasons wife and all his family members.
