Robert "Bob" Owen Edwards

Robert Owen “Bob” Edwards, 73, passed away on August 9, 2018 surrounded by family at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. He was the husband of Carol Edwards. They shared 53 years of marriage together.

Born in Calgary, Alberta, he was the son of the late Tom and Eva Edwards. He was the co-founder of R&R Edwards Services, where he also worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed working and spending time with family. He will be remembered for his crazy stories and his loud personality.

He is survived by his wife Carol Edwards, children Donna McKay and Rob Edwards, son-in-law Jim McKay, granddaughter Alexandra McKay, siblings Jack Edwards (Edna), Linda Renfert (Wayne), Betty Bales, Dale Edwards (Dolly), brother-in-law Randy McNeil, and lots of other family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Tom and Eva Edwards, sister Judy McNeil, and brother-in-law Doug Bales.

The funeral service will be held at Zion Church (AB-582, Mountain View County, AB) on Saturday, August 18th at 2:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob’s honour can be made to the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation, 2323 - 32 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6Z3.
