Much loved wife and mother, Ethel passed away quietly at the Santauri Hospice at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, David of Airdrie; her three children; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Ruth Bell (Stormy, Heric and Jacob), Linda and Derek Dragon (Sarah and Katherine) and Christopher (Taylor), other family and friends. Ethel will be forever remembered for her passion and loyalty for her family, kind heart and can do attitude. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those who lives she touched. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Ethel’s memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6 or the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Santuri Hospice their care and compassion. In accordance with Ethel’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held.
