Shannon and family, I'm so sorry. Louis was always so kind to me -- in high school and when our paths crossed working. You are in my prayers. Kind regards, Elizabeth

When I heard the news of Louis leaving the planet for the heaven's, I was on a stage performing with our band to 500 Christian women girl club leaders at their annual leadership conference in Vancouver. The message touched me deeply due to the fact that Louis and the Bourque family have been household name for us since Paul went west in the 70's. To you all, Our deepest love and prayers go forth for you. You will never know how gratful we have been to have known and loved you all. Please know this, on the day I received the text message from my mom of Louis passing, in front of those 500 Christian girl club leaders, much prayer was lifted up for your family and ours. Prayer for strength and the love of family to be close by. I have felt it. I know you all have as well. God bless, and a whole lot love sent to from the Van Caulart's in the east! God speed Louis! See you soon! Love VC's East.

I am so sorry and sad for all of you. Louis was a great guy and loved by his family and extended family. My prayers are with you all at this time. Take time to heal and bring peace to yourself.

My deepest condolences to the Bourque family, great loss, he wil be missed. Luis E. urra

Kelly, Patrick and Shannon. I think I only met Louis once or twice at the school but during those times I remember his sense and humour and calm personality but also the intense care for his children that was beneath this mellow-seeming exterior. Kelly and Patrick, you are some of the nicest students I've worked with over the last several years and in my experiences being able to realize this important quality in yourselves comes from having loving parents who are there for you and teach you well. My sincerest condolences.
