It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Nonno, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Lorenzo Montanari on November 7, 2012. Lorenzo born in Ceccano, Frosinone in 1932, passed away peacefully in Vancouver at the age of 80 surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Maria Teresa of 54 years, sons Maurizio (Lucy) and Roberto (Maria). Also greatly missed by his precious grandchildren Danielle, Marcus, Amanda and Brianna. Lorenzo also leaves to mourn his loss, his sister Pupetta, brothers Cataldo and Cesare as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Holy Family German Parish, 1896 32nd Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park South Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear of Lorenzo's passing. Today, being a special day of remembrance, November 11, my thoughts are with everyone back home. Vittorio would have been 70 years old today.
