Lucas Dreher

January 23rd, 1930 ~ December 9th, 2014

It is with great sadness that we announce Lucas’ sudden passing.  He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the age of 84 years.  He was predeceased by his parents John and Magdalena; brother Henry; father and mother-in-law Robert and Katherine Becker; sisters and brothers-in-law Martin Schneider, Steve Pottie, Evelyn (Lucien) Coupal, and Ida (Max) Weimer.  Lucas leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Roberta; his loving children Suzanne (Robert) Hosaluk, Melody (Michael) Murray, and Nadene (Curtis) Galecki; grandson Kyle Hosaluk and fiancée Kristyn Weir; brothers Sebastian (Lucy), Bernard (Marlene), Steve (Marjorie), and Edward (Margaret); sisters Louise Schneider, Marie Pottie, and Ellie (Richard) Swidrowich; sister-in-law Mildred Dreher; uncle Jack Kambeitz; aunt Ella Schaefer; sister-in-law Kathy (Raymond) Sebastian; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Ave., Regina, SK with Rev. Jose Thomas Periyilkatte Celebrant.  Cremation. Private family interment will be held in Regina Memorial Gardens.  Flowers most gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing may make donations, in Lucas’ memory, to a charity of choice.

We were saddened too hear about the sudden passing of your dear husband, father, father-in-law and grandpa Lucas. Our sincerest condolences to you all. I always enjoyed our conversations on Sundays before mass in the sacristy, he had such a good sense of humour. I will miss that. God bless you all.

Sincere condolences to you Bertie and family. So glad I had the privilege of talking to you and Lucas after church in August when I was home for the Dreher Classic. It was great to see you both.
