Doreen Elizabeth Brown

January 25th, 1934 ~ May 25th, 2014

Doreen Elizabeth Brown passed away with her daughter at her side following a brief battle with lung cancer.  After moving from Zehner, SK, where her family farm was located, Doreen cherished a long life mostly spent in Regina among her beloved friends and family. She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Caroline Gourlie, and her brother Cyril Gourlie. Doreen is survived by her children Ward and Jade (Brad Mahon), the lights of her life, her grandsons Landis and Liam, along with her step-grandchildren Brendan and Hannah, and by many extended family members. Her final months were made more comfortable thanks to the care and compassion of the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, and the Home Care and the Grace Hospice nurses and caregivers who watched over her. Private family graveside service will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens.  A Summer Celebration of Doreen’s Life will be held later in July 2014!  In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen’s memory may be made to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6
