Roseanna Closs (nee Reidlinger) passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Roseanna will be dearly remembered as the caring person we all grew to love.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Susan, Arthur and Stanley; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Steven, Cassidy, Michelle, Chantal; great-grandchildren Azalea, Peyton, Brody, and step great-granddaughter, Avicin; her brothers, Jack Reidlinger and Cleo Reidlinger; sister, Gloria Battyanie; and brothers-in-law, Len Schmelzer, Peter Clauss, Ronald Closs, Ernest Closs, Carmen Closs; and sister-in-law, Beatrice Chipchura; nieces, Sharon, Valerie and Patti; as well as her may nieces and nephews. Roseanna will be also sadly missed and cherished by very dear friends, Tracy Kersey, Ed Erickson, Marg Twa and her neighbors that grew to love her as we all did.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard of 60 years; sisters, Barbara Goldade and Diana Clauss; brother-in-law, Sam Goldade; and very dear and close sister-in-law, Doris Schmelzer.
Celebration of Life will be in the Community where she lived until her passing.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday." Auntie Rose was a special kind of lady. Always looking on the bright side of things and calling it as she saw it. She always thought of me whenever someone would give her copious amounts of wool that she didn't know what to do with. I'd get a call to come for tea and take what I could use. So many fibre art projects completed because of her generosity. She will be truly missed and forever remembered. My deepest condolences to Susan, Art and Stan. RIP Auntie.
