July 18th, 2018

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne James Delbeke on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Red Deer Hospice.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all of his many wonderful friends.

Messages:

Dear Bonnie & extended family - on behalf of the "Grate" 1972 UBC Civil Engineering Class please accept the sincere condolences of Wayne's many classmates that always enjoyed his presence and input at many of our Engineering Class Reunions that we hold every 5 years. We were all somewhat shocked to hear of Wayne's passing so soon after his attending our 45th Reunion in Harrison Hot Springs in May 2017. I enjoyed talking to him at that Reunion. We will always fondly remember the good times we had with Wayne right back to our crazy UBC days and up to our last meeting with him at the Harrison Hot Springs Reunion. Wayne was also one "Helluva an Engineer"! May Wayne Rest in Eternal Peace. His Civil Classmates will never forget him.

Dear Bonnie, Sending you all my love and deepest sympathy. May your cherished memories bring you much comfort in the days and moments ahead. Thinking of you and all Wayne's friends and relatives - as you remember his strength and all of the times shared together. Much love Bonnie.

May you find comfort in your memories of Wayne and be at peace knowing he is no longer suffering. It was always a pleasure to visit with him. With sympathy, Margy

To Bonnie and family, Our sincere condolences on the passing of Wayne. Cherish the good times you shared together and draw strength from this. May Wayne Rest In Peace.
