Messages:

Dear Leslie, please accept my caring thoughts and sincerest condolences on the passing of your husband. May your strength of character serve you and you family well during this difficult time.

Tomorrow marks the opening day for my basketball team and I will take a long moment to remember a very special man who not only believed in me but helped me to believe in myself. I have had some superb coaches in my time but Scott Doan is one who always made me feel like I was a special type of athlete and person. He encouraged me and helped me foster a love for a game that has led me to have the amazing life I have today. To Leslie, Ryan and Zach I want to say that Scott was one of a kind and he will be truly missed. He will always be remembered and it is with a very heavy heart that we finally turn out the lights and bid him farewell. We are truly sorry for your loss and may Scott's memory and lessons be forever strong and kept alive by the hundreds of individuals he coached and educated through the years. Goodbye coach.
