Michel "Mike" Gabriel Dandurand

Michel (Mike) Gabriel Dandurand passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Mike was born in Montreal, Quebec on April 19, 1947 to Gabriel and Madeleine Dandurand. He moved to Alberta in 1977 making a long and successful career in the real estate business. Mike is lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Heidi (Hougan), of 24 years; his only son, Ryan, of Red Deer; daughter Elise, and granddaughter, Ella, of Calgary, and daughter, Rachelle, at home. He also leaves behind his only sister, Helene Dandurand and her husband, Daniel Laplace and daughter, Gabrielle of Montreal, the Hougan family of Red Deer and many dear friends, especially his Lake Louise Ski Friends family and his Pigeon Lake family. He was always there with a joke, a story, or just to sit around and tell stories of his crazy antics. He was extremely proud of achieving his Lifetime Pass for his volunteer Ski Friend role at Lake Louise. A Celebration of Life will be held at the CrossRoads Church, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County (accessed from 32 Street in Red Deer) on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm.
