George Robert Flagg

Flagg, George Robert, 81 of North Vancouver passed away on April 23, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. "Bob" or "Rob" was born to George and Emily Flagg in Vancouver B.C.

An athlete in his younger days, Rob played soccer, baseball, golf and squash and fished in local rivers. Rob went to school in North Vancouver, and later joined his parents in the family business: Flagg & Co. Mfg. Jewelry.

When his parents passed away, Rob took over running the business. Rob's friend Don made technical innovations and steady management from his friend Wendy, who helped the business thrive for another thirty years.

Rob was predeceased by his parents and brother David and is survived by his brothers Victor (Maria) and Peter (Judy). Rob is fondly remembered by family and close friends Bob, Cam and Vickie.

An informal gathering is planned for later in the summer; a notice will be sent to friends and family.
