The suffering of our brother Patrick has ended. He was a sweet soul who lost his way. We pray that he is resting peacefully with God.

Patrick was very talented and creative. He tried his hand at drawing, writing and carving. He loved music and was a singer and self taught guitarist. He also loved nature and animals and had a special relationship with wild birds, they were drawn to each other.

Patrick is predeceased by his parents  Harriette and Elmer Sr., his sister Carolynn and his brother Elmer Jr. He is survived by his other siblings, Wayne (Dale), David (Loraine), Robin (Valerie), Tim, Sherry (Peter), Joanne (Frank) and Michael, and many nieces, nephews, etc.

A private service will be held for family and close friends.

There were many family members, friends, care givers and agencies

that provided ongoing love and support

to Patrick over the years.

In particular, his sister Sherry was his living Angel and protector.

Thank you all for your kindness, dedication and compassion.

I’m sure Patrick is singing your praise in heaven.

We love and miss the angelic looking little blonde haired prankster we once knew!

Rest In Peace dear brother.

Messages:

My deepest condolences to the Henry family as well as all my dear schoolmates who shared his loyal friendship in school! I just saw the post of Pat’s passing - so sad! He was a good friend and a beautiful soul! We went to school together and I saw him at the Foothills Hospital. The struggle with addiction is so evil and has taken too many great friends over the years! Pat always treated me with kindness and respect! He and many great friends had some really fun times growing up. I will remember his jokes and laugh and his honesty in his final year in hospital! Sincere and tightest hugs to all who had the pleasure of knowing Pat Henry in their lifetime! God Speed my friend! Love you Pat! RIP

I didn’t know Patrick well, but we occasionally helped him out. When I asked if his name was Pat, he said, Patrick. From that I knew he was special. We have been asking about him for a while, and his friends said he was at his sisters. I knew he was loved. His friends called him St. Patrick. Thank you for publishing his obituary. We will miss him, but we will continue to help his friends out. Especially with winter coming. As Patrick said “ God Bless You”

I remember Pat as a kid, he was sweet and nice. We lived around the block on 14th Ave. I’m extremely sorry to hear of his struggles - It’s like picking up the wrong card and it can happen to anyone, yes anyone. Rest in peace Patrick Henry.

I will miss Pat my friend, we went to school together, shared many laughs and we fought, but we still remained friends to the end. I will miss having coffee with you Pat. Love Tamas

Dear Henry Family, Our deepest condolences to all. There are no words. Love McPhee family
