Victor Patkau

Vic passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10 at the age of 81. He is survived by his loving wife Lenore; children Victor (Maureen), Peter, Arlene (Ronald), Leonard (Billie-Jo); grandchildren Jonathan, Brandon, Justin and Christopher and numerous nieces and nephews. Vic will be remembered for his kind and loving nature. He was a dedicated family man and made many life long friends while working in the transportation industry. Vic had a successful career of 38 years with Canadian Pacific. After retiring he spent several years at Reimer Express Lines and Sears Logistics. A Memorial Service will be held at McDougall United Church, 8516 Athabasca Street S.E. on Monday, December 17 at 11:00 am. Donations in Vic's memory may be made to McDougall United Church Scholarship Fund.

Dear Lenore and family. I was saddened to hear of Vic's passing. Although the funeral is long past I wanted to pass on my condolences to my former neighbours. I don't get news as quickly now that Leslie's gone. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I had the great pleasure of working with Victor at Sears Logistics in Calgary. Being his Team Leader we would have many conversations and I would always look to him for his words of wisdom and inspiration.
