George Edward Mueller

George Edward Mueller passed away February 27,
2012 at the age of 91.
George was born the youngest of four boys in Champion, Alberta. He was
predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Ada; his three brothers, Emery, Claude
and Barney and their wives. He is
survived by: his loving wife of 70 years, Thelma; daughter Shirley (Dennis)
Roemmele, Larry (Donna), Lorne (Cheryl).
George also leaves seven grandchildren: Darin (Sharmon) Roemmele, Shelly
(John) McLaren, Aaron (Tara) Mueller, Marsha (Clint) Aarsby, Carleen (Dean)
Gorr, Nadine (Cameron) Layden and Colin (Angie) Mueller; 14 great grandchildren as well as numerous
nieces and nephews.
George and Thelma
farmed and lived on the family homestead until 1983 when they sold it to a
nephew and moved to be near their three children and families. They bought a farm and farmed in the
Hainstock district, west of Olds until 1995 when they retired to Olds.
A Celebration of George’s Life will be held
at the Olds Evergreen Centre, 5237 – 52 Street, Olds, Alberta on Thursday, March
8, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
