After her courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Marlene Deminchuk, of Calgary,AB on June 4, 2012 at the age of 72 years. At Mary’s request, no service will be held. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Bowness Branch # 238, 138 Bowness Centre NW (behind the Bownesian Store on Bowness Road) on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Lunch will be served. If friends so desire, donations in Mary’s memory may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 – 29th St. NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
